Vanguard Goods founder Hamza Hassan was raised with interest to learn and explore. Born in Boston, Massachusetts his family moved to several countries during his childhood where he was exposed to various cultures and people. The passion to travel was a hobby that he inherited from his father. The family would seek every opportunity to explore a new country and explore the local culture and art. It was this passion that led him to start Vanguard Goods, a company based on providing environmentally friendly and ethically sourced products at an affordable price.
The luggage industry is split into two main categories: the premium products which cost too much and ultra cheap products that do not last long enough. The solution was to develop a suitcase by investing in the manufacturing process, materials, and technology to provide a product that offers the features of a premium bag at an affordable price. The other issue with suitcases was the lack of product support and warranty for the products which is why we have a lifetime warranty and support on our products. As a result, our company believes in fair trade and a long term responsibility to our customers.
The lifetime warranty.
While our products are of the highest quality and artistry, there are limitations to everything. The number one complaint people have with the luggage industry is the lack of customer support for product repair under their “Limited Warranty.” We do not believe our products are a temporary product but something to last decades. Our in house customer support system in the United States and Asia will be more than happy to inform you of the closest repair center and send the required materials ensuring you are covered no matter where you are. Does your suitcase come with that piece of mind?
Our unique patent-pending wheels replaceable wheels are designed in house to be replaced no matter where you are without tools. The Shell is coated with a scratch resistant coating and pattern which should minimize any scuffs and scratches. The surface allows for most blemishes to be wiped off with a rag and soap water. The zippers are of the highest quality YKK water-resistant zippers and can quickly be dispatched to any repair shop to ensure the product maintains the high-quality standards we support.
The question now is not “should I get one” but “where to?”.
The tradition of giving back and caring for others is a universal concept that extends beyond borders and religion. That is why we decided that for every product sold, we will provide high quality backpacks to children in need. One charity we partnered with is The House of Innocents in Louisville, Kentucky which provides shelter and emotional support to children in need. With each product donated, you will receive a handwritten thank you note from a child you helped in their time of need.
